MATILHA is a Portuguese television series, airing on RTP1 and internationally on Amazon Prime Video, selected for the Berlinale Series Market, in association with the Berlin Film Festival and the European Film Market.
Written by Edgar Medina, Guilherme Mendonça and Rui Cardoso Martins and directed by João Maia, this criminal thriller starring Afonso Pimentel and Margarida Vila-Nova takes up two characters from SUL — one of the most praised titles of the new Portuguese television fiction, premiered in 2019.
